Hi! I participated twice at gogonihon’s studytrips ;) one in Tokyo back in 2019 and one this year 2025 in Osaka. I stayed in Tokyo for about a month and a half and I had so much... fun that I wanted to do it again in another city and why not in Osaka ! Osaka was sooo different than Tokyo, the people are more open, have more time and are so fun to talk to, just like in Italy where there are differences between northern and southern people… I really enjoyed every afternoon activity that we had, such as cooking class and the ninja experience and many more… we had Japanese classes in the morning, very challenging at the beginning, but with the time it gets better 🫣👍🏼 I really love the gogo team, because they’re so helpful and funny too!If you want to experience Japan as a local, but you don’t have so much time because of work, I recommend the studytrips that last 3 weeks. For sure my next time experience would be the Akita one ;) when I have time again I will do that ! My boyfriend and I used GGN to assist with the process of getting to Japan. Through a student visa, we have been able to apply for up to 1 year and 3 months, with potential for 2... years!We went language school route since we both already have higher education degrees and wanted to learn Japanese as part of our eventual move there. The fact that GGN lists all the information about the schools so you can choose is pretty cool. They work as the middleman for you in a process that can probably be very sensitive. School application, visa and Immigration stuff.They have places and businesses that they are partnered with but you don't have to use them and there was no pressure to.Saskia and Layna were super helpful when we had questions.Only issue was (maybe just for the April start term) but we were very stressed towards the end because of the Japanese process of getting the COE and Visa before you can get a place to live made the window really tight for getting a place and we ended up not having a lot of time to find somewhere to live for 2 years - because the COE came a month before school started and you have to make an appt with the Embassy to turn it into a Visa which can take a week or so. And most places require a month before move in (and several places said no because we were foreign students) so that was very stressful - but not GGN's fault!Overall its great that there is a tool to help with the process of moving to Japan and there was really no cost to utilize their services!Its a great took if you don't know where or how to start as they know all the steps and processes and even have a bunch of helpful tips and links and videos.read more

Nous sommes toujours en contact avec cette famille adorable et chaleureuse...Je recommande aussi Osaka si vous voulez voyager pendant vos études, parce que vous êtes au centre du Japon et avez accès à tout par Bateau (Oîta et la région du Kyushu), en bus (Hiroshima, Nagoya, Tottori, ...), en train et en shinkansen (Tôkyô, le mont Fuji, Kyoto, ...) et en avion (Hokkaidō). Si je pouvais mettre 9 ou 10 étoiles, je le ferai les yeux fermés. Je recommande Go! Go! Nihon afin de mener à bien votre projet au Japon !Ayant un profil qui diffère sur... certains points comparé à d'autres futurs étudiants, je m'étais dit que ce serait assez compliqué de pouvoir étudier de nouveau au Japon. Et pourtant, j'ai tout de suite ressenti de la sérénité dans nos interactions avec mes correspondantes (Nora et Pauline) ainsi que Yume, que je remercie toutes les trois pour leur ponctualité et leur efficacité.Tout est fait pour que ce soit clair, net, précis, avec des PDF explicatifs qui suivent une timeline précise, et des réponses claires à nos interrogations dans un délai plus que correct. L'interface du site est très ergonomique et pratique avec des onglets pour chaque étape, on ne s'y perd pas comme pour beaucoup d'autres sites web de cet acabit. La communication entre chaque parti (vous, vos correspondants, et l'école) est vraiment fluide. Quand on sait comment ça fonctionne dans nos administrations en France, ce serait une belle leçon d'humilité pour certains de s'en inspirer !En clair, si vous y mettez du vôtre pour finaliser le dossier en temps et en heure, je ne vois aucune raison d'obtenir un résultat négatif à terme. Tout est fait pour réussir avec l'obtention d'un COE/VISA à la clé, en plus d'être aidé pour le logement (facultatif) ainsi que d'autres aides complémentaires qui aident à une intégration simple et rassurante dès notre arrivée au Japon.Pour celles et ceux qui hésitent encore à se lancer dans l'aventure, essayez et foncez car c'est probablement le meilleur moment pour le faire avec le court du yen favorable et une technologie qui simplifie de plus en plus les démarches.Maintenant, il n'y a plus qu'à taffer les kanji et réussir mon JLPT, au boulot ! :)read more
