If you’ve had a chance to look around our site you may already know a few things about us. But here’s a little background in case we’ve not met you yet and you’re wondering if you should aapply through Go! Go! Nihon.
We were established back in 2009 because our founders wanted to study Japanese in Japan. However, they found it pretty difficult to make the move. They wish there’d been someone to ease the process and help them understand what they needed to do without all the hassle and confusion. So they started Go! Go! Nihon from a coffee shop.
Since then we’ve helped over 11,00 people come to Japan and we’re still going strong. We’ve expanded our services to include both short-term and long-term study, accommodation support, and even part-time job support.
Go! Go! World
So where do we fit in? Go! Go! Nihon is actually part of Go! Go! World. Having helped loads of students come to Japan, we realised there was the same need elsewhere. The umbrella of Go! Go! World covers Go! Go! Nihon, Go! Go! Hanguk, Go! Go! España and Studytrip.com. Each branch helps students who want to study long-term in Japan, South Korea, and Spain.
And if you can’t afford a long-term trip, Studytrip.com offers 2-4 week trips in each of these locations that combine language study and cultural activities. Each year we help around 1600 students travel to these countries to study abroad all over the world.
How can we help you study Japanese in Japan?
So why should you choose to apply through Go! Go! Nihon? We know there are a couple of organisations that offer similar services. But we’re a little different and here’s why.
We’re free
Firstly, if we’ve not made this super clear, it’s free to apply through Go! Go! Nihon. How you ask? Well, we work directly with the schools and other organisations who want more international students. The problem is, they don’t really know how to reach them or how to communicate with them properly.
So we work with the school to simplify the process and work through the application process for you. You then pay the school the same as you would if you applied with them directly.
We help you with all the paperwork
When applying to language schools in Japan, the application process can be long and tiring. That’s why we have a multinational team from over 20 different countries that work directly with the schools to understand what they need. We then decipher all the paperwork and ask you for the information in a much clearer way. We fill in the official forms, deal with any problems and make sure you aren’t caught out by any confusing language or tricky questions.

When you apply through Go! Go! Nihon, we improve your chances of getting into the best school for your goals. We know our schools inside and out and we only work with those that meet our student’s needs. Our list of partner schools is constantly growing to give you the best choice of schools.
We’ve been in your shoes
Most of our team are former language students themselves. Many of us have used Go! Go! Nihon services before and now live and work in Japan after finishing our studies.

Airport pick-up
Go! Go! Nihon is pleased to offer a pick-up service from Narita, Haneda and Kansai Airports. You can book for multiple people at once and it’s a service for anyone, not just Go! Go! Nihon students. Wifi/SIM Card
We partner with MOBAL to provide you with sim and wifi deals with a discount. As you might have seen from our other article about Sim cards, it can be a little tricky to navigate phone plans in Japan.
Bank account
We can offer advice on how to pick a decent bank account and understand what you’ll need to do to set one up.
Residence Card
If you’re studying long term you’ll need a residence card and need to know what to do with it once you have it. We’ll guide you through the process.
Orientation
We don’t just cut you loose once you’re here. We help you get settled in and meet other students, as well as locals. For each intake, we hold an orientation party with useful talks, a goodie bag, drinks and food to help you settle into your new life.
Work in Japan
You might want to support yourself while you’re out here, or just have a little extra spending money. We partner with an agency to help you find a part-time or full-time job.
Events in Japan
We hold lots of exciting and interesting events throughout the year in Japan. You’ll have a great chance to get out and try new things while meeting new people.
