NIPPORI – Nippori is a calm and quiet residential area in central northern Tokyo. It is home to a lot of convenient shops and restaurants, which makes it a great place for both eating out or bringing home food from the supermarket that can be found close to the school.
While being a generally inexpensive place to live in comparison to the rest of the city, it’s still very well located since it is connected to the rest of central Tokyo by the Yamanote line. For example, you could easily reach Akihabara by train in only 7 minutes. Ikebukuro (13 minutes), Shinjuku (17 minutes) and Shibuya (29 minutes) are also just one simple train ride away, no changing lines!
