Known for its close proximity to Waseda University, Takadanobaba is largely a student-oriented area. Everything in the area is catered to a student’s lifestyle. You’ll find many affordable, but delicious places to eat and drink. Karaoke, bowling, darts, bars, you name it, this place has got it. Best of all, the main point of this area is affordability for students. If you make your way over to Waseda University, you can take advantage of their facilities even if you’re not an enrolled student. You can sit and study in their buildings or head over to their cafeteria for a bite to eat. It’s a great place to make some friends at one of the most prestigious private universities in Japan.
ISI Takadanobaba has two locations near Takadanobaba Station: ISI Language School Takadanobaba is for students in the Academic Course, and ISI Career and Language Academy Takadanobaba is the designated location for Career Course students.
This course will provide you with the skills you need to communicate effectively in today's business world, including presentation, speaking and writing skills, and will enable you to find a job, start a business and develop your career in Japan.

JLPT prep elective classes
These JLPT classes will prepare you for levels N2 or N1. They will focus on teaching you techniques to pass the test and will focus on the different sections that you will encounter in the test.
Business class
This elective class prepares students for job hunting in Japan. Students will learn how to write a resume, and practice interview and presentation skills.
School Intensity
This school is of medium-high Intensity which means that they teach material at a very efficient pace. In general, you can expect to study daily for about 2 hours outside of class, depending on your level. So if you're someone who is serious about Japanese and committed to learning quickly yet still want some free time, this school could be right for you!

The total course costs in these charts include class time, staff guidance and some school activities. Study materials and textbooks are also included for both short-term and long-term students. The long-term course fees also include an extended student insurance plan for injuries and accidents.
Starting from hiragana and katakana, you’ll learn the four basics of listening, speaking, writing, and reading. Achievement tests will be regularly administered so you’ll be able to clearly track your Japanese progress.
Vocabulary and kanji studies are ramped up in this stage. Focus will be placed on expressing and understanding complex ideas using appropriate language for the situation. Starting from Intermediate level, students will be able to understand newspaper articles and understand Japan's unique business culture and customs.
Students will learn more difficult idioms and high level situational Japanese. They will be able to use Business Japanese in the appropriate situation, practising how to answer the phone, write e-mails, prepare a presentation and acquire all the business skills needed in their future career.
This course includes standard lessons, JLPT and EJU preparation, various elective classes, and cultural activities throughout the year.
