Akamonkai is Tokyo's largest Japanese language school and offers many different types of courses to fit your needs. Be ready to study, as they have a strict and rigid, but effective teaching system. They are one of the few schools that offer a pre-university preparatory program for students with only 11 years of formal education, but wish to move onto higher education.
Intensity varies depending on the course
This school provides different course intensities to suit students needs:
High intensity course - You will spend the majority of your time outside of class studying and reviewing class materials to make sure you can keep up with the high pace of the class. This is best for students that are serious about mastering Japanese and want to potentially move onto either higher education or full-time employment.
Medium-high intensity course - The amount of self-study required to keep pace of the class leaves some free time. It is a good option for students who are willing to spend more time studying so they can progress quicker but also want to have some time outside of class to enjoy life in Japan.
