Eikei University of Hiroshima is located in the centre of Hiroshima City, a lively regional hub with a population of around 1.2 million. Surrounded by mountains and the Seto Inland Sea, the city offers easy access to nature while still providing the convenience and energy of urban life.
Hiroshima is internationally known for its history and strong commitment to peace and global dialogue. Today, it is a modern and welcoming city with a rich cultural scene, professional sports teams, a diverse food culture, and a strong local industry. This balance of history, culture, and everyday life makes Hiroshima an appealing place for international students to live and study.
This undergraduate programme combines a broad liberal arts education with hands-on, real-world learning. Students study across disciplines such as the humanities, social sciences, business, global studies, and data-related fields to understand how societies function and how change can be created.
Learning goes beyond the classroom through project-based courses, internships, and volunteer programmes with partner organisations in Japan and overseas. Through this practical approach, students develop strong skills in problem-solving, creative thinking, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication, preparing them to address real social and global challenges.
