Our school is located in Kofu.
UNITAS Kofu’s campus is located in the lush and mountainous area of Yamanashi, famous for beautiful nature and Japan’s national icon, Mt Fuji. Go to class and study during the week and enjoy outdoor activities, visit local attractions and relax at an onsen on the weekends.
For those who need a bit of city life, Kofu is less than two hours by train from Tokyo and the school is located a 10-minute walk away from Kofu Station.

GENERAL COURSE
This course helps students build a strong foundation in Japanese for everyday life. It is suitable for those who want to improve their practical speaking skills and develop overall language proficiency.

Other features
JLPT prep elective classes
These JLPT classes will prepare you for levels N2 or N1. They will focus on teaching you techniques to pass the test and will focus on the different sections that you will encounter in the test.
Higher education prep
This elective class prepares you for the EJU test, which is required for all students aiming to attend university in Japan.
Conversation classes
In this elective class, you’ll practice speaking and listening to increase your overall verbal communication skills.
Business Japanese Classes
Study business Japanese and etiquette. This class is perfect for all students, especially those who are looking for full-time employment in Japan.
Job Hunting Prep class
From preparing you for interviews to teaching you proper business Japanese, this school provides support for when you’re ready to join the Japanese workforce

Supplementary student insurance, textbook fees, and extracurricular activity fees are included.
A discount is available for students who pay for 12 months in the first tuition payment.
Beginner Level
Students at this level will begin developing basic communication skills for daily life. They will learn to read and understand short texts with teacher support, hold simple conversations, and follow the main points of slow and clear speech in familiar situations.
Pre-Intermediate Level
Students at this level will focus on everyday interactions. They will learn to understand spoken instructions, exchange information, and describe their background and surroundings in a clear and organized way.
Intermediate Level
Students at this level will strengthen their ability to talk about familiar topics and share opinions in structured ways. They will also begin using grammar and vocabulary at JLPT N3 level, and practice writing and presenting on a range of subjects with clarity.
Pre-Advanced Level
Students at this level will work on expressing more complex ideas both in speach and in writing. They will improve fluency, accuracy, and understanding of nuance such as tone and context and build their language skill towards JLPT N2 level.
