Who is GLOBIS?

GLOBIS University is Japan’s largest business school, with several campuses in Japan as well as locations in Singapore, Shanghai and Bangkok. The school was started in 1992 by entrepreneur Yoshito Hori, is fully accredited by the Japan University Accreditation Association and recognised by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

What is the GLOBIS MBA program?

The GLOBIS MBA covers a broad spectrum of business management-related topics and a variety of specialised courses

The Full-time MBA involves classes during the weekdays and towards the end of the program, there is an internship component to gain real-world experience. Students must complete 48 credits, which is about 32 courses, including compulsory subjects in order to graduate.  

Due to the hands-on nature of the MBA program, applicants must have some prior professional work experience, a minimum of two years before applying.

What do I need to apply?

There are a number of requirements that applicants need to meet in order to apply. These include having a Bachelor’s degree and full-time work experience. For more information on application requirements, please see our school page

The Full-time program has a total cost of 4,070,000 JPY. The tuition fee is 3,845,000 JPY and there is an enrollment fee of 225,000 JPY to be paid upon acceptance of the enrollment offer. The application fee for candidates from overseas is 15,000 JPY and 36,000 JPY for those living in Japan.

GLOBIS offers generous scholarships which can cover 50% of the tuition cost and can also extend education loans to finance up to 50% of tuition. Additionally, there are other external scholarships available.
