Who is GLOBIS?
GLOBIS University is Japan’s largest business school, with several campuses in Japan as well as locations in Singapore, Shanghai and Bangkok. The school was started in 1992 by entrepreneur Yoshito Hori, is fully accredited by the Japan University Accreditation Association and recognised by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
What is the GLOBIS MBA program?
The GLOBIS MBA covers a broad spectrum of business management-related topics and a variety of specialised courses.
The Full-time MBA involves classes during the weekdays and towards the end of the program, there is an internship component to gain real-world experience. Students must complete 48 credits, which is about 32 courses, including compulsory subjects in order to graduate.
Due to the hands-on nature of the MBA program, applicants must have some prior professional work experience, a minimum of two years before applying.
Why take an MBA with GLOBIS?
In addition to being Japan’s biggest MBA school, GLOBIS also offers its programs in English – perfect for those who are still working on their Japanese language skills. The classes are kept small to optimise students’ learning experience. Career support for students is a focus for GLOBIS. The school partners with 120 organisations and supports students in getting internships with these companies.
GLOBIS’ location in Japan also means students get to study for a well-regarded degree in the world’s third-largest economy and in a country with a high standard of living, excellent infrastructure, low crime and fairly even wealth distribution relative to the world’s other major economies.
Will I be able to find work in Japan after doing this MBA?
