CULTURE & COMMUNICATION COURSE
The Culture & Communication Course is ideal for students who want to learn conversational Japanese while experiencing Japan’s rich culture. The program helps students communicate confidently in daily life and offers a variety of elective classes on topics such as pop culture, traditional arts, anime, manga, literature, cooking, and fashion.
Students in this course can also take a small selection of business Japanese classes, making it a great choice for those who want a flexible and well-rounded study experience while exploring their future goals in Japan. Students can study for up to two years from any starting term.

Students begin by building a strong foundation in Japanese grammar and vocabulary, with an emphasis on everyday conversation. Early lessons focus on practical communication, helping students express themselves clearly and confidently in daily life situations. As their skills grow, students expand their understanding of kanji, listening, and pronunciation while developing confidence in speaking Japanese naturally.
At the intermediate level, the focus shifts toward using Japanese in a wider range of situations. They also learn to recognize and use variations in word choice and expressions to communicate more naturally and appropriately.

After reaching the N4 level, students can choose from a range of specialized elective classes, including Honorific Japanese, Japanese Business Practices, and Job-Hunting in Japan. HIGHER EDUCATION PREP COURSE
The Higher Education Prep Course is designed for students who plan to continue their studies at a university or vocational school in Japan. Through focused lessons in reading, writing, and academic Japanese, students gain the skills needed to succeed in entrance exams and campus life. Classes include guidance on thesis writing, research planning, and interview preparation.
Students can also choose to take additional Junbi Kyoiku or EJU subject classes for Science, Math, and Japan and the World to further strengthen their qualifications for higher education in Japan. Course length varies depending on your starting term to align with graduation in March, matching the Japanese academic calendar.

In this course, Junbi Kyoiku and EJU classes are available at an additional cost of 20,000 yen every 6 months.
The program begins with a focus on strengthening grammar, reading, and writing while reinforcing the listening and speaking skills required for classroom communication. Students also learn how to express ideas clearly in both spoken and written Japanese.
As students progress, lessons introduce more advanced academic language and critical reading skills. Students also learn strategies for approaching entrance exams and interviews, preparing them for the expectations of higher education in Japan.
In the advanced stages, students work toward mastering academic expression and comprehension, the course aims to give students the confidence and ability to thrive in Japanese academic settings and take the next step toward their educational goals.
