GENERAL JAPANESE COURSE
This course includes standard lessons, JLPT preparation, various elective choices and cultural activities throughout the year. This course focuses heavily on verbal communication.

JLPT prep elective classes
These JLPT classes will prepare you for levels N2 or N1. They will focus on teaching you techniques to pass the test and will focus on the different sections that you will encounter in the test.
Conversation class
In this elective class, you’ll practice speaking and listening to increase your overall verbal communication skills.
School Intensity

*** All students are required to have an iPad for class. The iPad rental fee is 12,000 yen per term which is not included in the Total Course Costs. You may bring your own iPad, but it must be an iPad, iPad Air or iPad Pro that is less than 3 years old.
TERM 1 - 2
BEGINNER - 6 MONTHS
Students will be taught basic grammar sentence patterns and gain understanding on how Japanese is used. Main textbooks: Kai Original Textbooks
TERM 3 - 5
INTERMEDIATE - 9 MONTHS
Variation of expressions is learned focused around communication skills. More social topics, grammar strengthening, vocabulary, and up to 1,000 kanji will be learned. Main textbooks: Kai Original Textbooks
TERM 6 - 8
ADVANCED - 9 MONTHS
Students will be able to speak and write with accuracy and logic. They will be able to achieve a level of sophistication in their communication will enhance their ability to speak with others comfortably and build their human relations network. Main textbooks: Kai Original Textbooks, Depends on electives
