KYOTO – Kyoto is arguably the most historically and culturally rich city in Japan. With great numbers of amazing temples, shrines, and other places that will give you great inspiration, there is no better place for someone wanting to fully experience traditional Japan. With 1.4 million people and more than 30 universities, Kyoto is one of the leading academic cities in Japan.
Kyoto is not all about historical things though. It is also home to several modern technology companies like video game giant, Nintendo. Despite being a “small” city compared to Tokyo, you will enjoy both ultra-modern and traditional shopping districts as Kyoto locals are just as fashion-aware and updated as Tokyo residents. If that’s still not enough, Japan’s third largest city, Osaka, is just about 30 minutes away by train.
The course is suitable for serious students, especially those who aim to go to Japanese college, university, or pass the higher levels of the JLPT. This is the only full 2-year course available at ISI Kyoto.
