BEGINNER - 9 MONTHS

Tokyo Galaxy uses their own original study materials to get students learning the basic grammar needed in Japanese but with a focus on oral communication. This is complemented with Romanized texts, vocabulary lists, and conversational study texts that have been translated into the students' own language. Alongside this students will learn over 300 kanji in their first 9 months.Beginner level 2 is for people that have some previous knowledge of basic Japanese. After completing this level, learners can use basic communication, such as makig requests, asking for advise, talking about interests and so on. (equal to JLPT N4 level)

INTERMEDIATE - 9 MONTHS

Beginning with a review of the previous terms grammar, students move on to learn how to apply this in reading and writing as well as further listening and conversation exercises. As the term progresses, they move on to learning about the variation of words and their correct meanings and usages, enabling them to speak more naturally. There are also optional lessons to enable students to study particular Japanese interests in more depth.

ADVANCED - 9 MONTHS

Students progress to learn how to read and understand more complex texts and partake in more complex conversations. Ranging from essays, prose and fiction of around 2000-3000 words to Japanese appropriate expressions and forms of language for various situations.
