Beginner Level? Start here!
The Akamonkai Beginner Course is an intensive 12-week course that provides a solid foundation of the Japanese language thanks to the techniques and materials used by the experienced teachers of Akamonkai Language School.
The units are sorted by days since it follows Akamonkai’s own course curriculum but you can take the course in your own time at your own pace! You will also have the opportunity to talk to the teachers and your peers directly in the private student community.
Take this course to get started with Japanese and cover all the material needed for the JLPT N5. We offer a free trial for you to get started!
Pre-Intermediate Level
This is for those who have a solid foundation of Japanese and are somewhere between N5 and N4 level.
The Akamonkai Pre-Intermediate Course is an intensive 12-week course that will build upon your Japanese foundation all the way to JLPT N4.
The units are sorted by days since it follows Akamonkai’s own course curriculum but you can take the course in your own time at your own pace! You will also have the opportunity to talk to the teachers and your peers directly in the private student community.

Intermediate Level
This is for those who already have a solid foundation of Japanese and are somewhere between N4 and N3 level.
In our Japanese Intermediate course, you can learn how to talk about your opinion and thoughts using intermediate-level Japanese. You can also train your listening and reading skills through more complex and long conversations and reading materials.
You can take the course in your own time at your own pace but still have the opportunity to talk to the teacher and your peers directly in the private student community
Intermediate-Advanced Level
This is for those who are somewhere N3 and N2 level.
The Intercultural Institute Business Japanese course allows you to learn essential skills you need to succeed in a Japanese workplace, from mastering Keigo to understanding the minutiae of Japanese business etiquette.
This course is perfect for anyone who wants to work in Japan but doesn’t yet have a good grasp of Keigo, business Japanese language, as well as business culture and etiquette in Japan
