Study Trip Programs Leader

We are seeking a proactive, driven, and highly organized Study Trip Programs Manager to lead and grow our Study Trip product.

Go! Go! World helps students from all over the world who want to live and study in Japan, Korea, Spain, France, and Italy. We provide free support for finding the perfect school for each student and help them apply for their student visa. We also help in finding accommodation and get up-to-date immigration advice. We offer our service in 10 languages and have helped over 20,000 people from more than 90 countries achieve their dream of living & studying abroad.

We also run Study Trips, short term programs that provide an immersive experience, combining Japanese language lessons with authentic cultural experiences and engaging activities in Japan.

This role focuses on managing the Study Trip product, being in charge of the organization of the programs and the operations when the clients are in Japan.
You will directly manage a small team (3-4 people) and will coordinate with other Team Leaders and Department Managers to deliver a high quality service.

This is a dynamic role suited for someone that, while organized, has the flexibility and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Program Planning & Execution

  • Course Development: Decide on trip dates and offerings based on market trends and student feedback to plan future launches.
  • B2B & Partnerships: Manage inquiries from organizations for customized trips, which includes joining sales calls, creating custom proposals, and overseeing group contracts.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team and Sales team to coordinate program launches, website updates, and promotional campaigns

Project & Team Leadership

  • Team Management: Manage the Study Trip team, setting team and personal OKRs and conducting regular 1:1s, and provide Study Trip-related training 
  • Logistics and Strategic Scheduling: Coordinate logistics involving staff availability, suppliers calendars, and essential preparations to ensure seamless operations
  • On-site Support: Serve as back up for orientations and activities, and support Tour leaders during the programs if needed

Resource & Quality Control

  • Documentation & Materials: Maintain and update all essential student guides, internal manuals, and operations templates to keep information current.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor financial targets, application fees, and cancellation rates, while using student surveys to identify areas for improvement.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee all program projects tracking progress to ensure everything stays on schedule

Requirements

  • Business-level English
  • Proven experience in product and/or project management 
  • Experience in leading small teams
  • High organizational skills
  • Attention to details 
  • Ability to handle a dynamic product and the drive to improve existing processes
  • Comfortable communicating directly with clients and stakeholders
  • Must be available to work outside of standard working hours when courses are running or emergencies arise


Nice to have:

  • Experience in business development
  • Japanese proficiency is a significant plus, as it assists with supplier meetings and providing translations during activities.
