  • What will I learn in this course?

    We've created this course to reflect the real JLPT N4 exam so you will have the opportunity to answer questions the way you would in the JLPT N4 test. You will also be able to check the answers, one by one, with the help of Japanese teachers, who will also check the vocabulary and grammar that appears in every question. There is also a private student community where you can interact with other students on the course and with your teachers.

  • Can anyone take this course?

    This course was designed to prepare for the JLPT N4 exam by allowing you to practice taking the test and give you examples and tips on how best to pass it. Whilst there are some explanations in English to help you understand the course structure it is mostly in Japanese as that is how the exam is. It is important that you have already studied the material for JLPT N5 as this course is designed to help you understand and practice the testing process, not to learn the material..

  • How much does the course cost?

    The seven-day crash course costs 8,820 yen and gives you access to the content for two months from registration.

  • Will there be live classes on this course?

    This course has been created as a content-on-demand course. While there are not have ‘live’ classes, you will be able to interact with Tokyo Galaxy teachers, Go! Go! Nihon staff and other students through the community and through interactive lessons. The pre-recorded lessons allow you to complete lessons at your own pace.

  • Do I need to have studied Japanese before to take this course?

    This course was designed to go in partnership with a JLPT N4 study course like the Akamonkai 12-Week Pre-Intermediate Course or similar. It helps to familiarize you with the JLPT exam format and learn how to answer the questions only, not teach you all the subject matter you need to know in order to pass the exam.
