While looking back into one of the best months in his life, Zachary decided to share with us his eventful month on Go! Go! Nihon’s\u00a0Summer Course<\/a>\u00a0in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Go! Go! Nihon staff): Could you tell me a bit about\u00a0yourself?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Zachary) My name is Zachary Medeiros, I’m 22 years old, Canadian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are your opinions of \u00a0the Summer Course in Japan\u00a0so far?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought it was amazing. From the people I got to meet, both teachers and fellow students, to the things I got to see and learn, overall I think it has being a great experience for my first time in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you found out\u00a0about the \u00a0S<\/i>ummer Course in Japan?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be honest I’ve being trying to come to Japan for quite a while now. Just searching on Google, Go! Go! Nihon was one of the first links to pop out. Looking through the website I saw that the Summer Course\u00a0had exactly what I was looking for and that’s how I ended up here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I see. What has being your favorite activity of Summer Course in Japan\u00a0so far?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think my favorite was definitely Kamakura and Enoshima Island. Seeing the giant Buddha statue and the dragon shrine in Enoshima Island was really amazing and interesting to see. It was exactly the type of cultural activity I wanted to do while in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How was Go! Go! Nihon and its staff in general for you?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were way beyond my expectations. They were simply amazing, supporting, and a great time to be with. I felt they made every single excursion way better than it was supposed to originally be based on what I read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During your stay on the Summer Course, how\u00a0have you felt with the language classes?<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a university student, so I’m accustomed to very difficult learning styles. So for me Akamonkai\u00a0classes were pretty tame and easy, especially at the beginning. Over time it did become a bit easier, it might have even hit some boring points here and there but overall it is really useful and I do feel like I can use all the Japanese I’ve learn during the Summer Course in Japan\u00a0classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you think you’d keep learning Japanese after this trip?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Definitely!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Would you recommend the Summer Course Japan\u00a0<\/em>or any other of the S<\/em>tudy Trip courses to anyone out there?<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

100% yes I would recommend any of this courses, especially the Summer Course in Japan.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is there anything you\u00a0want to say to the\u00a0people who are thinking about applying to this courses?<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Definitely apply!\u00a0If you’re just thinking about it, just do it. This has been one of the best courses you are going to experience with Go! Go! Nihon in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, since you’ve being learning the language for this past month, is\u00a0there anything you’d like to say in Japanese?<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Laughs) Omae wa mou shindeiru. (\u304a\u524d\u306f\u3082\u3046\u6b7b\u3093\u3067\u3044\u308b)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
