If you’ve looked around our site you may already know a few things about us. But here’s a little background in case we’ve not met you yet and you’re wondering if you should apply through Go! Go! Nihon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We were established in 2009 because our founders<\/a> wanted to study Japanese in Japan. However, they found it pretty difficult to make the move. They wish there\u2019d been someone to ease the process and help them understand what they needed to do without all the hassle and confusion. So they started Go! Go! Nihon from a coffee shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since then we\u2019ve helped over 11,00 people come to Japan and we\u2019re still going strong. We\u2019ve expanded our services to include both short-term and long-term study, accommodation support, and even part-time job support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So where do we fit in? Go! Go! Nihon is actually part of Go! Go! World. Having helped loads of students come to Japan, we realized there was the same need elsewhere. The umbrella of Go! Go! World covers Go! Go! Nihon, Go! Go! Each year we help around 1600 students travel to these countries to study abroad all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So why should you choose to apply through Go! Go! Nihon? We know there are a couple of organizations that offer similar services. But we\u2019re a little different and here\u2019s why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Firstly, if we’ve not made this super clear, it’s free <\/strong>to apply through Go! Go! Nihon. How you ask? Well, we work directly with the schools<\/a> and other organizations who want more international students. The problem is, that they don’t know how to reach them or how to communicate with them properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So we work with the school to simplify the process and work through the application process for you. You then pay the school the same as you would if you applied with them directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When applying to language schools in Japan, the application process can be long and tiring. That\u2019s why we have a multinational team from over 20 different countries that works directly with the schools to understand what they need. We then decipher all the paperwork and ask you for the information in a much clearer way. We fill in the official forms, deal with any problems, and make sure you aren\u2019t caught out by any confusing language or tricky questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When you apply through Go! Go! As you might have seen from our other article about SIM cards<\/a>, it can be a little tricky to navigate phone plans in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We can offer advice on how to pick a decent bank account<\/a> and understand what you\u2019ll need to do to set one up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you\u2019re studying long term you\u2019ll need a residence card<\/a> and need to know what to do with it once you have it. We\u2019ll guide you through the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We don\u2019t just cut you loose once you\u2019re here. We help you get settled in and meet other students, as well as locals. For each intake, we hold an orientation party with useful talks, a goodie bag, drinks, and food to help you settle into your new life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You might want to support yourself while you\u2019re out here, or just have a little extra spending money.
